The Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation is compiling a comprehensive survey of Coolidge's speeches.

As Hendrik Booraem notes in his article, "Calvin Coolidge's Prize Essay," as a college student Coolidge had already "acquired a reputation ... as an unusually good writer and speaker, who could state a case clearly and convincingly." Many of Coolidges speeches stand today as exemplary oratory.
