Andrew [Andy] T. Kostanecki graduated from Cornell, and was the founder and owner of an engineering design firm. Most prominently, his contributions to the sailing world include being an officer of the United States Olympic Committee, and representative to and committee chair of the International Sailing Association Federation. He is also researching and writing a book on neglected, but major, military engagements of WWII. Andy and his wife Sheila divide their time between Bridgewater, in the summer, and Vero Beach Florida.
