Gerard E. Jones practiced law in New York and Connecticut for 40 years. He retired in 2005. Gerry was a Partner in the law firm of Richard & O’Neil, LLP, which was acquired by Bingham McCutchen in 2001. Gerry served as Adjunct Professor of Law at Vermont Law School from 2006 through 2008 and has taught history for five years at ILEAD. He is a Trustee of the Vermont Law School, the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation and the Nature Conservancy of Vermont. Gerry graduated from Yale College in 1959 with a degree in history and Yale Law School in 1965.
For over a dozen years, Jones served as a Director of several mutual funds sponsored by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, including the Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund, Inc. He now serves as Chairman of the Board of the Barrett Growth Funds, sponsored by Legg Mason.
