Director of the Coolidge Foundation since 1990, Cyndy Bittinger has researched and written about the Coolidge family for The Rutland Herald, Vermont Public Radio, the Sunday Republican newspaper of Springfield, MA and a book published in 2005, Grace Coolidge, Sudden Star. She is a Columbia University trained historian who created courses for the Community College of Vermont when she taught Vermont History and Women in U.S. History there for seven years. Her initiatives at the Coolidge Foundation have included raising funds, raising visibility, and adding educational programs to the site and website.
