We are pleased to announce that following the Governor’s appearance, ALL THAT JAZZ was a marvelous and successful fundraiser. Len Vignola our Executive Director was Master of Ceremonies. He, Diane Kemble, Bill Brooks and Karen Mansfield did a great job in creating and organizing this significant event. The dinner, catered by Allechante, was first rate. The music by Sweet Music was lively. The highly successful "Silent Auction" was particularly appropriate for a Coolidge Annual Dinner.
It is heart-warming to witness the important contributions by our staff, Mimi Baird, Betty Masterson, the Trustees, the National Advisory Board members, the Coolidge family and our partners the Vermont Division of Historic Preservation. The entire Coolidge team worked collaboratively to make this night of all nights an event to remember.
The festivities followed the election of three new Trustees of the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation, Barbara S. O'Connell, Owen J. Stearns and Richard W. Hube. (Click names to see Bios.) Nancy B. Tanzer and Representative Ernest W. Shand, Jr. were thanked and cited for their long and dedicated service to the Foundation.
Frank J. Barrett, Jr. was elected Secretary, Richard B. North was elected Treasurer, Mimi Baird and Gerard E. Jones were elected Vice Presidents and Robert P. Kirby was elected President.
Charles C. Buell received an ovation for his distinguished service as President as did Jennifer Sayles Harville, Vice President, Thomas A. Murray, Vice President and Nancy B Tanzer Secretary.
Wyatt R. Haskell and Senator Randall D. Brock III are new National Advisory Board members. (Click names to see Bios.)
