Peek on February 23rd at 3:00 pm in the President Calvin Coolidge Museum and
Education Center, Plymouth, Vermont. Hosted by Kate Bradley, the Coolidge
Foundation’s Special Collections Manager, the event will give attendees a
unique behind-the-scenes glimpse at select items from the Foundation’s Special
Collections that are not otherwise available to the public. In this current
presidential election year, Americans find themselves surrounded by political
campaign culture. This rare peek at mid-1920s campaign items will reveal the
similarities and differences between Coolidge’s presidential campaigns and
present-day presidential campaigns. The presentation will highlight the intricate
and pervasive role of campaign culture using a wide variety of specially
selected items, from voting machines, to cigars, to books. The event is free
to the public, though donations to the Coolidge Foundation will be gratefully
accepted. February 23rd at 3:00 p.m.
